E-commerce

Whether your e-commerce solution is open-source, licensed or SaaS based, our developers will develop a scalable and robust solution for you. Our solutions meet your business needs and at the same time come with the bells and the whistles.

Through the project specification document we understand your requirements about the eCommerce solution that you want to build and then come up with a customized solution. It is not just about having products online and having these patched up with a payment gateway. There is much more to it. The way the products are presented on the site, the way information related to pricing, shipping, guarantees etc is displayed, the ease of purchase, the after-sales mails that are sent out to the customers, product tracking etc all come together to create a shopping experience that the customers would want to repeat.

Although the underlying eCommerce CMS (our eCommerce CMS of choice is Magento) might be common for most of our clients, our solutions are unique to each client. We develop eCommerce solutions that are aesthetically pleasing, feature rich, user-centric and take your future plans into account.

E_commerce

According to a number of surveys a large percentage of potential customers end up abandoning the cart because of frustrating user experience. For us, user experience is pivotal to developing a successful eCommerce solution. Through various stages of the customer journey, right from landing on the site to completing the transaction, we help the customer at each point of the purchase process. Once the transaction is complete, it is not the end…in fact it is the beginning of building a loyal customer for life.

Although each eCommerce solution is different from another there are a few common requisites. Let us take a look at these:

1. Merchant Account

You’ll need a commercial account that would enable you to accept payments through credit cards and PayPal online.

2. Shopping Cart

Most of the ‘off the shelf’ eCommerce solutions like Magento, BigCommerce, Shopify, X-Cart etc have their own in-built shopping cart. It is rare that a customized shopping cart is required.

3. SSL Certificate

A SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate is used during the checkout process when the payment is being processed. Client data (including the credit card details) is sent to the processing servers in an encrypted format thus eliminating the risk of payment fraud. One can purchase any of the numerous SSL certificates available.

4. Payment Gateway Integration

There are numerous reputed payment gateway providers (including most of the banks) available. We will help you select one and integrate it with the shopping cart so that the transactions start reflecting in your merchant bank account.
